I came into a bit of money due to some wise investments. My family and I decided that we’d like a vacation home in Arizona. Last time we were over there visiting family, we fell in love with a very specific area. These homes were absolutely beautiful. This particular development was appealing to us because it just really felt like home. The community was perfect in every way. The streets were clean. The front yards were meticulously groomed. There were plenty of things for kids to do in the area. It seemed like a very family friendly location. Since this would be a vacation home, we weren’t interested in the most expensive home on the block. We wanted something modest, yet comfortable enough to entertain guests and have parties. I immediately contacted a local realtor for assistance.
By the end of the day I had a response from the company I contacted. They had a person on staff who was very familiar with the properties I was interested. This was great news! It’s difficult to buy property when you’re not in close proximity to the actual location. Having someone local who could help me out was great. I was able to find a few homes in particular that I liked. He was able to pull some listings that he thought would work for me. When we came across homes that were on both of our lists, we knew that the property was worth looking at. I’ve scheduled a flight out to the area in a couple of weeks, and I’m ready to hit the ground running when I get there.
